Finding Caffeine Assisted Motivation

I love the mental image that is associated with a good cup of coffee, and a quiet place to work. For me, I instantly feel the warmth and comfort of coffee in a mug that gets me prepared for the work day just by thinking about it. For many of us, a morning coffee signals a mental shift from being unproductive and lazy to transforming into a version our best self. I’m a huge fan of the idea that we can in an instant change ourselves. We are the makers of our own destiny and anything that helps bring that out is of high value to me. I often do my best thinking in the morning over a cup of coffee. Those ideas and motivations will be explored here.

Coding & Creation

As we move through our days, we have an opportunity to consciously create something. We create a life. We create relationships and for many of us creating something that adds value to other peoples lives is very important to us.

The majority of my life I have spent creating by programming. When I became a programmer I felt a very distinct feeling of accomplishment that I was doing something that was making other peoples work life easier. My efforts didn’t instantly fade within a day, but the better I did at my job the better and longer the positive effect it had on others.

In this area of this site, I will try and pass on a little of my knowledge with the hope that I can add add value to your life. Perhaps you might even feel inspired to do some programming yourself.

Life Long Learning – Be a Student of Life

We all have unique and interesting experiences to share. I’ll take a more traditional approach to blogging here. From cool places I find to general thoughts about life and interacting with people.
