Coffee is the best!

Coffee is enjoyed people all around the world. Living in the pacific northwest, where many coffee companies are based, you have an opportunity to get to know many types of coffee drinks. You can sometimes find new (or new to you) types showcased on your nearby Starbucks, Seattle’s Best, Coffee Bean menu. There is always interesting history for each of these types.

Americano

You can make this type of coffee quite simply by adding hot water to a shot of espresso coffee. I often ask for these in iced form. An iced coffee is always nice, but the texture of an iced americano is just better sometimes.

Espresso

If your looking for a concentrated dose of caffeine espresso might become your coffee of choice. It is a dense choice of coffee drinks. By volume, this is by far the most bang for per serving. This tends to be my choice if I’m looking for the pick me up all at once instead of sipping the liquid wake me up. If your on the go or just don’t want the volume of liquid of other drinks this is a pretty good options. It’s made by forcing steam through ground coffee beans. So if yo have never tried, and might be able to imagine, it’s a thicker and most concentrated form of coffee beverage.

Latte

I’d have to say the latte is the most popular choice for my reference group. If you have ever heard of Starbucks pumpkin spice drink, it is a latte. The latte consists steamed milk and a single shot of coffee. I enjoy the frothiness of the beverage, and they typically can come in a large variety of flavors. I’d wager this choice tends to be more well known in that the holiday flavors typically come in latte form.
